On behalf of the Swedish National Agency for Education, Merit AB is conducting a competence boost for staff in elderly care. The initiative targets care and support staff, language representatives, and their managers. The aim is to strengthen communication in meetings with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues – and to increase knowledge about the mission, values, and quality-assured working methods of elderly care.
Do you want to contribute to a more language-developing and inclusive elderly care? As a trainer, your task will be to teach vocational Swedish with themes such as the mission of care, approach and ethics, intercultural communication, teamwork, documentation, and digital tools. You will also work on establishing contacts with municipalities, care providers, and operational managers to promote the competence boost.
We are looking for someone whohas experience in teaching Swedish as a second language, preferably with a vocational focus
is accustomed to adapting teaching to the needs and language levels of participants
has good knowledge of elderly care and its mission
has high digital competence and experience with learning platforms
if you also have experience in adult education, mentoring, or language representative work, that is a big plus!
